I seek permanence everyday. I like security, I like being sure with myself, and with my world. I feel since class has begun I have accepted that nothing in this world is permanent. I feel as I have learned to live in the now, rather than the past or in the future. I realize that nothing is permanent, and the more I remember this, the more I appreciate it. Those moments you create with people, you may never get them back. Sometimes, I set myself apart from the moment, to note it, to soak it in. I feel like this is something I know I need to do more of, but it’s a start. We live in a fast society and sometimes we get so caught up in ourselves, we don’t realize what is actually important.
